Also, if you use blender and are seeing this, make sure to familiarize yourself with the transform orientation function, the 3D cursor, and the shear function. If youre lazy, at LEAST use the 3d cursor as much as possible. Having the ability to set custom gravity singularities/origin points for scaling, rotating, and bounding is too damn useful. You can also rotate the 3d cursor and use the transform orientation together to create impromptu normal orientations for meshes.
